You can set vertical tabs in Google Chrome by right-clicking an empty space on your tab bar and selecting Show tabs vertically. [1]
Method 1: Using the Right-Click Menu
- Open Google Chrome and make sure you have updated to the latest version.
- Right-click on any open tab or the empty space next to your tabs.
- Click Show tabs vertically from the menu.
Method 2: Using Chrome Settings
- Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of Chrome.
- Go to Settings (or More tools depending on your version).
Method 3: Enabling via Chrome Flags (If the option is missing)
If you do not see the option in your menu or settings, you may need to enable the experimental flag:
- Type
chrome://flagsinto your address bar and press Enter. - Search for vertical tabs in the search box.
- Change the dropdown menu next to it to Enabled.
If you're still not seeing the option, tell me your Chrome version number (found in Settings > About Chrome) so I can help you find the right setup step.
